Hi,
I am a volunteer with 911 Parrot Alert, an international group?
dedicated to reuniting lost companion birds with their people.
Your message has been cross-posted to our lost and
found bird database?http://911parrotalert.com?(NOT to be
confused with Parrotalert.com which is UK based). We have
listings for lost and found birds, organized by location, type
and date, with new entries daily. This is a free service provided by
volunteers with a passion for pet birds.
I've included a list of resources below, where you can search for?
matching "lost" birds in your area, or post a "found" ad for your?
bird.?
If you are not able to identify the type use this link for reference?
http://www.911parrotalert.com/
or?http://www.911parrotalert.com/
You may also want to drive around your neighborhood to see
if anyone has posted a lost bird flyer. It wouldn't hurt to check
with nearby pet stores, vet offices and shelters/rescues to see
if anyone has reported a lost bird.?
It might help to post some 'found bird' flyers as well ... giving
limited details so that the owner is required to ID their lost bird.
Feel free to use the 911PA website to search lost bird listings.
Let's hope the owner can be found.
Wishing you the best of luck! Please let us know if we may be of?
assistance, and please also share the good news when your bird has?
been reunited with its owner.
Best Regards,
Retta, Volunteer
