Where did everybody go? That is the question little Briony had on her mind when someone left her at the front door of the ACF in a carrier. At just five weeks old, the world looked very big and a little scary to the young kitten. But Briony was quickly enrolled in our Teenie Weanie Program and lived in a foster home until she was old enough to be spayed. Her foster mom has this to say about this petite dynamo: Briony is a character! She is super affectionate and playful, yet it is clear that she was a single kitten as she is very capable of entertaining herself if no one else has time to play. She has the heart of a lioness, bold and brave. She has no fear of people, and sees them as playgrounds as well as a soft place to sleep. She is also not frightened of vacuum cleaners or other household noises. She introduced herself to our adult cats and played fast chase games up and down the stairs, not caring if she got bopped on the head frequently when they told her to mind her manners. She is so confident that she will fall asleep wherever she is - and it could be a stair or the middle of the floor, so look before you step. If you find her there, you can move her into her bed and she won?t even wake up! At the ACF, we have found her to be confident and independent?until she wants a cuddle. Then she climbs into your lap, places her paws on either shoulder and nuzzles her head into your chest as she rumbles with a steady purr. This petite dilute calico has a splendid coat of hues of pale grey and peach mixed with white. Although she will grow out of kittenhood, we believe that Briony will be a petite cat her entire life.
